  • Our 12th team left the city!

    Our 12th team left the city!

    A.P. 12 (Feb. 18 – Mar. 2, 2023)

    The team got to the city and had a group meeting yesterday. Later, they shared dinner with their guide.

    They left the city early this morning and after a 3-hour drive, they reached the trailhead at Horcones.

    They’re hiking up to Confluencia Camp and they’ll spend their first night there.

    Tomorrow they’ll continue towards Base Camp.

    They’re led by our guide Gastón Molina. He’s taking a sat phone with him to keep us updated.

    Looking forward to a great expedition!

  • Summit!

    Summit!

    A.P. 11 (Jan. 28 – Feb. 16, 2023)

    They got to the summit today!

    After a long day, they stood at the top of the highest mountain out of the Himalayas. A unique experience!

    The team is now at High Camp and they’ll go down to Base Camp tomorrow.

    Over 90% expedition success rate this season with 10 teams out of 11 getting to the top!

    Team 12 leaving in a week from now!

    The team successfully moved to High Camp today.

    They’re ready for the big day, as they’ll tackle the summit tomorrow.

    The team has already moved to Camp 2. They’re fine and motivated!

    They’re taking a rest day tomorrow, before they continue climbing up.

    Summit!

    A.P. 10 (Jan. 28 – Feb. 8, 2023)

    They got to the top today!

    It was a challenging day, but they reached the summit of the highest peak in the Americas!

    The team is already back at High Camp, where they’re spending the night. Tomorrow they’re going down to Base Camp.

    Carry to Camp 2

    The team carried some loads to Camp 2 today.

    After that, they returned to Camp 1. They’ll spend the night there.

    The team is taking an extra rest day at High Camp, due to the weather conditions.

    This is also good for their acclimatization to high altitude. They’ll tackle the summit tomorrow.
