    Yesterday, the team left Camp 2 and moved to High Camp, where they’re now resting and acclimatizing for the final push.

    Today, they’re taking a break to recover and prepare for tomorrow’s summit bid!

    After days of hard work and determination, they stood on top of the Americas!

    It was a tough, cold day, but their effort made them accomplished this huge achievement. The views from there are nothing short of breathtaking!

    They have already safely returned to camp, ready to rest before continuing their descent.

  • AP 1 – At Camp 2!

    The team has successfully reached Camp 2, making great progress on their ascent.

    They’ve now settled in for some well-earned rest. It’s crucial to acclimatize at this altitude, and tomorrow will be all about taking time to hydrate, recover, and prepare for the next stages of the climb.

  • AP 2 – They are at High Camp!

    The team has successfully reached High Camp today. Spirits are high as they prepare for the final push. After days of preparation and acclimatization, tomorrow is the big day – the team will be tackling the summit!

    They’re focused and ready for the challenge ahead.

    This morning, after breakfast, the team left Base Camp behind and moved to Camp 1.

    After some days of acclimatization, they’re now making their way up the mountain. With each step, new stunning views unfold before them.

    The team carried some loads yesterday, and went back down to Base Camp to rest.

    Early this morning, they continued their journey, moving up to Camp 2. They’re planning to rest there tomorrow.

    Yesterday, the team successfully carried some loads to Camp 1. After spending some time there, they returned to Base Camp to spend the night.

    They are all motivated and getting used to the altitude. Tomorrow, they’ll take a rest day at Base Camp.

    The team successfully arrived at Plaza de Mulas Base Camp yesterday.

    Today, they worked hard, carrying some loads to Camp 1 before returning to Base Camp.

    Tomorrow, they plan to take a rest day to recover and acclimatize before continuing their journey upward.

  • AP 1 – Approach hike complete

    AP 1 – Approach hike complete

    After reaching Casa de Piedra and spending the night there, the team continued their approach hike.

    They’ve successfully reached Plaza Argentina Base Camp and are now at 13,780 feet.

    They’ll take a rest day there, which will be great for their acclimatization.

  • AP 2 – The adventure begins!

    AP 2 – The adventure begins!

    A.P. 2 (Nov. 30 – Dec. 11, 2024)

    The team arrived yesterday, and they had a meeting with the guides. Later, they enjoyed a tasty dinner with traditional food and local wines.

    Early this morning, the group reached the trailhead and began their approach hike along the Horcones Valley toward Plaza de Mulas Base Camp. Tonight, they’ll stay at Confluencia Camp before continuing their ascent.

    Experienced guides Rolo Abaca and Florencia Torres are leading the team and will keep us updated.

    They’ve embarked on an experience that will surely change their lives!
