    AP 1 – Ready for a new season!

    A.P. 1 (Nov. 30 – Dec. 18, 2024)

    We’re so excited to be starting a new season!

    The team arrived in the city and had a group meeting with their guide to get to know each other.

    Today, they were taken to the trailhead to begin the 3-day approach hike along the stunning Vacas Valley. They’ll spend their first night in the mountains at Pampa de Leñas.

    Tomorrow, they’ll continue the approach hike toward Plaza Argentina Base Camp.

    Their lead guide is Emiliano Poletti, and he’s taking a satellite phone to keep us updated.

    Looking forward to a great season!

  • AP 11 – Summit!

    AP 11 – Summit!

    A.P. 11 (Feb. 3 – 22, 2024)

    They got to the summit!

    After a challenging day, they got to the top of the Americas! Such a unique experience!

    They did a great job working as a team and they’re now back at High Camp. Tomorrow they’re descending to Base Camp.

    The team has successfully moved to High Camp.

    They’re motivated and getting ready for the big day, because tomorrow they’ll tackle the summit!

    AP 11 – Camp 2

    A.P. 11 (Feb. 3 – 22, 2024)

    The team left Base Camp and moved to Camp 1 yesterday.

    Today they continued their way up, reaching Camp 2. Tomorrow they’ll stay there taking a rest day.

  • AP 12 – Summit!

    AP 12 – Summit!

    A.P. 12 (Feb. 3 – 14, 2024)

    They got to the top! Today they reached the summit of the highest peak outside of the Himalayas! An experience they’ll never forget!

    They’re now back at High Camp to spend the night. Tomorrow they’ll go back down to Base Camp.

    The team left Camp 2 and successfully moved to High Camp today.

    We talked to Emiliano, their lead guide, who said they’re fine and motivated.

    They’re now getting ready to tackle the summit tomorrow!

    The team left Camp 1 yesterday and continued their way up.

    They’ve already moved to Camp 2, where they took a rest day today.

    The team carried some loads to Camp 1 yesterday.

    After that, they went back down to Base Camp. Today they took a rest day there, before moving higher.

    The team carried some loads to Camp 1 yesterday and then descended to Base Camp to spend the night.

    Today they moved to Camp 1.

    The team finished the approach hike today.

    They’re now at Plaza de Mulas Base Camp at an altitude of 14,200 feet.

    They’ll take a rest day there to get used to the altitude.
