    Carry to High Camp

    A.P. 5 (Jan. 22 – Feb. 9, 2022)

    After taking a rest day at Camp 2, the team carried some loads to High Camp today.

    They spent some time up there and went back down to Camp 2 to spend the night, which is good for their acclimatization.

    Tomorrow they will take another rest day at Camp 2.

  • At Camp 2!

    At Camp 2!

    A.P. 5 (Jan. 22 – Feb. 9, 2022)

    The team successfully moved to Camp 2.

    They are strong and motivated as they keep gaining altitude.

    The group will take a rest day there and will plan their next steps according to the weather conditions.

  • Our last trip departed today!

    Our last trip departed today!

    A.P. 8 (Jan. 30 – Feb. 10, 2022)

    This great team had a group meeting yesterday and shared dinner last night.

    They left the city this morning and are already at Confluencia Camp.

    Tomorrow they will continue ascending the Normal Route up to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp.

    The group is lead by Pablo Goldengruss, who is assisted by the guides Luchi Marún and Diego Palotti. They will call us by sat phone to keep us updated.

    We have welcomed our last three trips of the season! We’ll share more news about them soon!

  • A new expedition starts!

    A new expedition starts!

    A.P. 7 (Jan. 30 – Feb. 10, 2022)

    The team left the city this morning and went to the trailhead. They started the hike along the Horcones Valley and already got to Confluencia Camp.

    The group, led by the guide Sebastián Satke, will spend the night there and tomorrow they will continue to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp.

    This is one of our 12-day expeditions as they came here already pre-acclimatized, using our High Altitude Training System with the Hypoxico tent.

  • Carry to Camp 1!

    Carry to Camp 1!

    A.P. 5 (Jan. 22 – Feb. 9, 2022)

    The team carried some loads to Camp 1 today and reached an altitude of 17,100′.

    After that, they went back down to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp where they will be spending the night.

    They might take a rest day there, before they move to Camp 1.

  • Amazing effort!

    Amazing effort!

    A.P. 4 (Jan. 18 – 29, 2022)

    After a long day today, the Tabour family made it to La Cueva at 22,000′ a few feet below the summit.

    We want to congratulate them for their monumental effort.

    Mom, Dad and their son Nicolas did incredible!

    They are all safe and happy.

    They will be heading to Base Camp tomorrow and returning to Mendoza the next day.

    The team is already at High Camp! They successfully got there today.

    They are getting ready for the big day, as tomorrow they will tackle the summit.

    The team got to Confluencia Camp and spent two nights there. They also hiked around enjoying the landscape and getting used to the altitude.

    They are now on their way to Base Camp.

    The team got to Camp 2 yesterday!

    Everyone is fine and they are taking a rest day there before going higher.

  • Another team leaves the city!

    Another team leaves the city!

    A.P. 5 (Jan. 22 – Feb. 9, 2022)

    We met this motivated team yesterday! They had a group meeting and tasted a typical barbecue paired with some local wines.

    They left the city this morning and got to Uspallata, a small village in the mountains, where they’ll spend the night at a hotel.

    Tomorrow they’ll start hiking the Normal Route along the Horcones Valley.

    The group is led by the guides Sebastián Ruiz and Florencia Torres. They will keep us updated, calling us by sat phone.
