The team got to the summit!! The group stood at 22,834 ft, the highest point of America and the highest mountain out of Himalayas. Probably a lifetime experience for everyone. It was a hard day but now the team is going to High Camp where they are going to sleep tonigth.

Tomorrow they will be going down to Plaza de Mulas, to complete the Aconcagua traverse and they will be at Mendoza on Monday.

Congratulations to the team!

The team carried gear to High Camp (19,200 ft) today. Rolo said that everybody did it great! They are going to sleep in Camp II tonigth and move to High Camp tomorrow.

They will take advantage of the weather window on Saturday and try to reach the summit.

The team reached High Camp today, at almost 6,000m! Everyone is fine up there.

They are in position to tackle the summit tomorrow. They will get up really early and after breakfast they will begin a 9 hours climb that will take them to the top of America. Good luck to them!

They plan to go for the summit tomorrow.

The group reached Camp II (18,000 ft) today. Everyone is feeling fine. Tomorrow they will have a deserved rest and plan which will be their next steps. Maybe do a carry of gear or move to High Camp, at almost 6,000m.

Now the weather is windy but there is a good weather window over the weekend. They are thinking on going to the summit after Saturday but remember that conditions in the mountain can change fast and every plan is open to change.

After moving the team was resting at Camp I, yesterday. Rolo said that everything was great in the expedition! Everybody are fine and motivated to go higher.

They will do a carry of gear or move to Camp II (17,500 ft.) today. They are focused in gaining altitude while keeping their energy.

The team carried the loads to Camp I (15,750 ft.) yerterday. These were their first steps in height. Everybody is fine!

Today they had some good meals at Plaza Argentina, rested and prepared for move to Camp I tomorrow. The next steps are carry a load to camp II and them move to that camp.

The group reached Plaza Argentina (14,000ft) yesterday, after a 3 day hike through the Relinchos Valley. This is the place where the climbers begin to acclimatize to altitude.

Rolo, the lead guide, said that everybody is fine and did it great! Today they will rest and enjoy the food there.

The plan is to carry the loads to Camp I tomorrow and return to Base Camp to sleep. That is the carry-move-rest system that they will use from now on to gain altitude.
