    They summited today! The whole team got to the top!

    We are happy to announce that all of our teams have reached the summit this season!

    The group worked hard and stood at the highest peak of America at 22,834′. An amazing experience!

    They will spend the night at High Camp. Tomorrow they will descend to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp and return to Mendoza the following day.

    Congratulations for this big achievement!

    The team safely moved to High Camp today and they are now at 19,200′.

    They are fine and getting everything ready for the big day, because they will tackle the summit tomorrow!

    The team successfully moved to Camp 2 today.

    Everyone is fine and getting used to the altitude. They are now at 17,500′.

    The team carried some loads to Camp 2 today.

    Later, they returned to Camp 1 to spend the night.

    The team left Base Camp this morning and moved to Camp 1.

    They are doing great up there and they have reached an altitude of 16,300′.

    The team successfully carried some loads to Camp 1 today.

    We spoke with Rolo, the lead guide, who said everyone is fine. The group is taking a rest day at Base Camp tomorrow.

    Base Camp!

    The team finished the 3-day approach hike to Plaza Argentina Base Camp and got there yesterday.

    They are fine and getting used to the altitude, as they are now at 14,200′. Today they are taking a rest day.

  • A new adventure begins!

    A new adventure begins!

    A.P. 9 (Feb. 1 – Feb. 20)

    The team left the city this morning and went to Penitentes to spend the night. They were very excited to start the trip!

    Tomorrow they will go to the trailhead and begin the 3-day approach hike to Base Camp, gaining altitude progressively in order to get a good acclimatization.

    The group is led by Rolo Abaca, who is assisted by Sebastián Ruiz. They are taking a satellite phone with them to keep us updated.
