    Move to High Camp!

    A.P. 7 (Jan. 11 – Jan. 30)

    The team successfully moved to High Camp today. They are now at 19,200′.

    They are fine and ready for the big day.

    The group will tackle the summit tomorrow! They already had dinner and are about to go to sleep.

  • At Base Camp!

    At Base Camp!

    A.P. 8 (Jan. 18 – Feb. 6)

    The team finished the 3-day approach hike and successfully reached Plaza Argentina Base Camp today.

    The group is fine and they are now at 14,200′.

    We are sharing a photo of the team at the trailhead.

  • Carry to High Camp

    Carry to High Camp

    A.P. 7 (Jan. 11 – Jan. 30)

    The team carried some loads to High Camp today.

    Now they are back at Camp 2. Everyone is fine and the plan is to take a rest day there tomorrow.

  • Camp 2!

    Camp 2!

    A.P. 7 (Jan. 11 – Jan. 30)

    The team carried some loads to Camp 2 yesterday and returned to Camp 1 to spend the night.

    Today they woke up and after having breakfast they moved to Camp 2, reaching an altitude of 17,500′.

    We spoke with Rolo, the lead guide, who said everyone is doing a great job up there.

  • At Camp 1

    At Camp 1

    A.P. 7 (Jan. 11 – Jan. 30)

    The team successfully moved to Camp 1 today. They are now at 16,300′.

    They are fine and getting a good acclimatization as they gain altitude.

    The photo above shows them sharing a meal at Base Camp yesterday.

  • A new expedition begins!

    A new expedition begins!

    A.P. 8 (Jan. 18 – Feb. 6)

    The team has already left the city and is spending the night at Penitentes. They will start the 3-day approach hike to Base Camp tomorrow.

    The group had a meeting yesterday and shared a typical barbecue with local wines.

    They are led by the guide Pablo Goldengruss, who is assisted by Cristian Esparza. They are taking a satellite phone with them to keep us updated.

  • Summit! 6 trips out of 6!

    Summit! 6 trips out of 6!

    A.P. 6 (Jan. 4 – Jan. 23)

    They got to the summit today!

    Sebastián, the lead guide, called us to say the team got to the top.

    We are happy to announce that all our trips have so far reached the summit this season.

    They stood at the highest peak in America at 22,834′. It was a challenging day, but they worked hard and did a great job.

    They are now back at High Camp. Tomorrow they will go down to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp.

    Congratulations for this big achievement!

    The team successfully moved to High Camp today, reaching an altitude of 19,200′.

    They are doing a great job up there and they are ready to tackle the summit tomorrow!

    The team carried some loads to Camp 1 today and returned to Base Camp to spend the night.

    They will rest there tomorrow before moving to Camp 1.

    Base Camp!

    The team successfully finished the 3-day approach hike and got to Plaza Argentina Base Camp yesterday.

    They are now at 14,200′. The group stayed there today to rest and get used to the altitude.
