They got to the summit today!
After a long day, they stood at the top of the highest mountain out of the Himalayas. A unique experience!
The team is now at High Camp and they’ll go down to Base Camp tomorrow.
Over 90% expedition success rate this season with 10 teams out of 11 getting to the top!

After that, they descended to Base Camp, where they’re taking a rest day.

They are fine and resting there today.

The group is already at Casa de Piedra, the second approach camp, where they’re spending the night.
Tomorrow they’ll continue to Base Camp.

We met this great team yesterday and after a group meeting, they had dinner together paired with some local wines.
Today they left the city and got to the trailhead at Punta de Vacas.
They’ll hike to Pampa de Leñas and they’ll spend the night there.
Tomorrow they’ll continue to Casa de Piedra, where they’ll spend another night, before hiking up to Plaza Argentina Base Camp.
The group is led by Pablo Goldengruss, who will keep us updated via sat phone.
