They got to the summit after a long and tough day!
They reached the top of the Americas and the highest peak out of the Himalayas! An unforgettable experience!
After spending the night at High Camp, they will continue to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp. The following day, they will hike back down the Horcones Valley and return to the city.
Congratulations for this big achievement!

The group moved to High Camp today.
We got a call from Rolo, their lead guide, who said they are getting ready for tomorrow, summit day!
We’ll share more news as soon as we hear back from them.

The group left Camp 1 this morning and moved to Camp 2, reaching an altitude of 17,651′.
They will take a rest day there tomorrow, before they keep going up.

Today the team carried some loads to Camp 1 and hiked back down to Base Camp. Tomorrow they will move up to Plaza Canadá.
We talked to Rolo, their lead guide, who said that everybody is doing fine.

After spending one night at Confluencia Camp, the team continued the hike along the Horcones Valley and got to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp this afternoon.
They are all fine and very motivated.

We met this motivated team yesterday! They had a group meeting and tasted a typical barbecue paired with some local wines. Here´s a pic of them enjoying this delicious meal.
They left the city this morning to start hiking the Normal Route along the Horcones Valley.
They will spend their first night at Confluencia Camp. Tomorrow they will continue to Base Camp.
The group is led by the guides Rolo Abaca, Matias Nestares and Gastón Riollo. They will keep us updated, calling us by sat phone.
