They got to the summit!
After a challenging day, they got to the top of the Americas! Such a unique experience!
They did a great job working as a team and they’re now back at High Camp. Tomorrow they’re descending to Base Camp.

The team has successfully moved to High Camp.
They’re motivated and getting ready for the big day, because tomorrow they’ll tackle the summit!

The team left Base Camp and moved to Camp 1 yesterday.
Today they continued their way up, reaching Camp 2. Tomorrow they’ll stay there taking a rest day.

The team carried some loads to Camp 1 yesterday.
After that, they went back down to Base Camp. Today they took a rest day there, before moving higher.

The team finished the approach hike today.
They’re now at Plaza de Mulas Base Camp at an altitude of 14,200 feet.
They’ll take a rest day there to get used to the altitude.

The team hiked to Plaza Francia today.
They enjoyed the lookout of Aconcagua’s South Face and then returned to Confluencia Camp to spend one more night.
Tomorrow they’ll continue the approach hike to Base Camp.

We met this great team yesterday. After a group meeting, they shared a typical dinner together.
Early this morning, they were taken to the trailhead at Horcones.
They started the approach hike and they’re now at Confluencia Camp, where they’ll spend two nights.
Their lead guide is Pablo Goldengruss, who is assisted by Claudio Grancelli. They’re taking a satellite phone to keep us updated.
