    A.P. 3 (Dec. 17 – 28, 2023)

    The team left High Camp early this morning. After a long, challenging day, they stood on top!

    They reached the summit of the highest mountain out of the Himalayas!

    They’ll spend the night at High Camp and go back down to Base Camp tomorrow.

    Congratulations for this big achievement!

    We spoke with Emiliano, their lead guide, who told us the team successfully reached High Camp today.

    They’re doing a great job up there and they’ll be tackling the summit tomorrow.

  • AP 3 – Rest day at Camp 2

    AP 3 – Rest day at Camp 2

    A.P. 3 (Dec. 17 – 28, 2023)

    The team successfully moved to Camp 2 and took a rest day there yesterday to get used to the altitude.

    The plan is to move to High Camp today.

    AP 3 – Move to Camp 1

    The team left Base Camp yesterday and successfully moved to Camp 1.

    We spoke with the guides, who said they were planning to move to Camp 2 today.

  • AP 3 – Carry to Camp 1

    AP 3 – Carry to Camp 1

    The team arrived to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp yesterday.

    Today they carried some loads to Camp 1. After that, they went back down to Base Camp, where they’re taking a rest day tomorrow.

  • AP 3 – A new expedition starts!

    AP 3 – A new expedition starts!

    A.P. 3 (Dec. 17 – 28, 2023)

    A new 12-day expedition starts!

    The team left the city this morning and after a 3-hour drive they got to the trailhead at Horcones.

    They hiked up to Confluencia Camp, where they’re spending the night.

    Tomorrow they’ll continue hiking along the Horcones Valley towards Plaza de Mulas Base Camp.

    Their lead guide is Emiliano Poletti, who is assisted by Carlos Scellato and Mauricio Gómez.
