    The team stayed at Camp 2 today, taking a rest day before going higher.

    They’re planning to move to High Camp tomorrow.

    The team left Camp 1 and continued their way up. They have already reached Camp 2.

    We spoke with Sebastián, their lead guide, who said they’re fine and doing a great job up there.

    The team successfully moved to Camp 1. They’re fine and getting used to the altitude.

    They’re planning to take a rest day tomorrow and move to Camp 2 the following day.

    The team carried some loads to Camp 1 yesterday.

    Then, they returned to Base Camp to spend the night.

    Today they’re taking a rest day there, before continuing their way up.

  • AP 4 – Base Camp!

    AP 4 – Base Camp!

    A.P. 4 (Dec. 17, 2023 – Jan. 4, 2024)

    The team finished the 3-day approach hike along the Vacas Valley, reaching Plaza Argentina Base Camp today.

    Tomorrow they’ll take a rest day there.

  • AP 4 – Ready for the adventure!

    AP 4 – Ready for the adventure!

    A.P. 4 (Dec. 17, 2023 – Jan. 4, 2024)

    The team had a group meeting yesterday to get to know each other and they left the city early this morning.

    Once at the trailhead at Punta de Vacas, they began the 3-day approach hike along the Vacas Valley towards Plaza Argentina Base Camp.

    Today they got to the first camp, Pampa de Leñas, where they’re spending one night.

    Their guides are Sebastián Ruiz and Matías Nestares. They’ll keep us updated calling us by satellite phone.
