    The team did a great job up there and they got to the summit today!

    It was a cold, tough day, but they worked hard and stood on top of the Americas!

    We want to congratulate the whole team and a special mention to our experienced guide, Rolo Abaca, who has just achieved his 40th summit!

  • AP 5 – High Camp!

    The team left Camp 2 and successfully moved to High Camp today.

    They’re now getting ready for the big day, as they’re planning to tackle the summit tomorrow!

    The team moved to Camp 1 yesterday and they continued their way up early this morning.

    They successfully reached Camp 2 today.

    We spoke with Rolo, their lead guide, who said they’re fine and getting used to the altitude.

    AP 5 – Carry to Camp 1

    The team rested at Base Camp yesterday.

    Today they went to Camp 1 to carry some loads.

    Later, they returned to Base Camp, where they enjoyed dinner while celebrating New Year’s Eve.

  • AP 5 – Base Camp!

    The team continued the approach hike early this morning.

    They already got to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp, reaching an altitude of 14,200 feet.

  • AP 5 – The team left the city!

    AP 5 – The team left the city!

    A.P. 5 (Dec. 27, 2023 – Jan. 7, 2024)

    The team met yesterday and had a group meeting with the guides.

    They’ve already left the city and were taken to the trailhead today.

    They’re now hiking along the Horcones Valley towards Confluencia Camp. They’ll spend one night there and continue to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp tomorrow.

    Their lead guide is Rolo Abaca, who is assisted by José Purto. They are taking a satellite phone with them to keep us updated.

    Looking forward to a great expedition!
