After carrying some loads to Camp 2, the team successfully moved there yesterday.
They’re now taking a rest day, before continuing their way up.

The team has already left Plaza Argentina Base Camp.
They continued their way up and they have moved to Camp 1.

The team successfully carried some loads to Camp 1 yesterday and went back down to Base Camp.
Today they took a rest day. The plan is to hike around Base Camp tomorrow, which is good for their acclimatization process.

The team finished the approach hike yesterday, reaching Plaza Argentina Base Camp.
They spent the day there to rest and get used to the altitude.

The team continued the approach hike along the Vacas Valley.
They’re now at Casa de Piedra spending their second night in the mountains.
Tomorrow they’ll hike up to Plaza Argentina Base Camp.

A.P. 6 (Dec. 27, 2023 – Jan. 14, 2024)
The team left the city early this morning and after a 3-hour drive, they got to the trailhead at Punta de Vacas.
They’ve already began the 3-day approach hike along the Vacas Valley, that will take them to Plaza Argentina Base Camp.
Today they’ll spend the night at the first camp, Pampa de Leñas. Tomorrow they’ll continue hiking to Casa de Piedra.
Their guides are Gastón Molina and Florencia Torres. They’ll keep us updated calling us by satellite phone.
