It was a very cold and windy day, but they got to the top of the Americas!
They did a great job working as a team. They’re now back at Base Camp.

The team took a rest day today.
We spoke with Sebastián, their lead guide, who said they’re getting everything ready for tomorrow, as they plan to tackle the summit.

The team left Camp 1 this morning and successfully moved to Camp 2.
They’ll plan their next steps according to the weather conditions.

The team carried some loads to Camp 1 yesterday.
After that, they descended to Base Camp to spend the night, which is great for their acclimatization process.
Today they moved to Camp 1.

The team successfully finished the approach hike, reaching Plaza de Mulas Base Camp yesterday.
They’re now at 14,200 feet. They took a rest day to get used to this altitude.
Their next step is to carry some loads to Camp 1.

This great team left the city today!
They were taken to the trailhead and have already started the approach hike to Base Camp.
The group is now hiking along the Horcones Valley towards Confluencia Camp, where they’ll spend their first night in the mountains. Tomorrow they’ll continue to Plaza de Mulas Base Camp.
Their lead guide is Sebastián Ruiz, who is assisted by Luchi Marún and Javier Vega.
