    AP 4 – Move to Camp 1

    A.P. 4 (Dec. 17, 2024 – Jan. 4, 2025)

    The team left Base Camp this morning after breakfast.

    They successfully arrived at Camp 1 and are preparing for the next steps in their journey up the mountain.

  • AP 3 – High Camp!

    AP 3 – High Camp!

    A.P. 3 (Dec. 17 – Dec. 28, 2024)

    Today, the team left Camp 2 and continued their way up.

    They’ve already got to High Camp and are ready for the summit push tomorrow. They’re now resting for the big day ahead.

  • AP 4 – Resting after carrying to Camp 1

    AP 4 – Resting after carrying to Camp 1

    A.P. 4 (Dec. 17, 2024 – Jan. 4, 2025)

    The team went up to Camp 1 yesterday to carry some loads and then returned to Base Camp.

    After the hard work, they’ve been taking a rest day to recharge.

    Tomorrow, they plan to move back up to Camp 1.

  • AP 3 – Rest day at Camp 2

    AP 3 – Rest day at Camp 2

    A.P. 3 (Dec. 17 – Dec. 28, 2024)

    The team successfully reached Camp 2 yesterday.

    After a rest day there today, they’re gearing up for the next stage of the climb. Tomorrow, they’ll head up to High Camp.

  • AP 4 – Rest day at Base Camp

    AP 4 – Rest day at Base Camp

    A.P. 4 (Dec. 17, 2024 – Jan. 4, 2025)

    Yesterday, the team completed their approach hike and arrived safely at Plaza Argentina Base Camp. That’s an important milestone on their journey!

    Today, they’ve spent the day resting, recharging, and acclimatizing in preparation for the next phase of the expedition.

  • AP 3 – At Camp 1

    AP 3 – At Camp 1

    A.P. 3 (Dec. 17 – Dec. 28, 2024)

    Yesterday, the team successfully carried supplies to Camp 1 and then returned to Base Camp to spend the night.

    Today, after breakfast, they made great progress by leaving Base Camp and moving up to Camp 1.

    AP 4 – Approach hike

    Today, the team left Pampa de Leñas and made their way to Casa de Piedra, where they’ll spend the night.

    After a good rest, they will continue their approach hike toward Plaza Argentina Base Camp tomorrow.

    This morning, the team left Confluencia Camp and continued their approach hike.

    They have successfully reached Plaza de Mulas Base Camp today.

  • AP 4 – Another team left the city!

    AP 4 – Another team left the city!

    A.P. 4 (Dec. 17, 2024 – Jan. 4, 2025)

    We met the team yesterday, excited and ready for the adventure ahead. After having a briefing with their guides, they gathered for a delicious, traditional barbecue.

    This morning, they left the city and were taken to the trailhead at Punta de Vacas. From there, they began their approach hike along the scenic Vacas Valley toward Plaza Argentina Base Camp. They’ll spend the night at Pampa de Leñas Camp, where they’ll rest before continuing the trek.

    They are being led by guides Javier Vega and Martín Campos. We’ll be following their progress closely as they make their way up.

    It’s the start of an unforgettable journey!

  • AP 3 – Journey to the mountains begins

    AP 3 – Journey to the mountains begins

    A.P. 3 (Dec. 17 – Dec. 28, 2024)

    After arriving in Mendoza, the team had a briefing with the guides and shared a meal together.

    This morning, the group set off early from the city and made their way to the trailhead, ready to begin their trek through the Horcones Valley. Tonight, they’ll rest at Confluencia Camp before continuing their ascent tomorrow toward Plaza de Mulas Base Camp.

    Guides Gastón Molina and Florencia Torres are leading the way, and we’ll be receiving updates on their progress regularly.

    It’s the beginning of a new adventure!
