Itinerary

DAY 1 Collapse Day 1

DAY 1

Fly to Temuco and travel to Malalcahuello  (Corralco) at the base of Volcano Lonquimay

  • Arrive via a short domestic flight from Santiago (we suggest arriving to Santiago the day before to catch up after your international flight and explore the city).
  • Meet Guide and Group at Temuco Airport.
  • Travel towards Volcano Lonquimay through the sacred lands of the Indigenous Mapuche.
  • Take in the beautiful landscape of expansive farmland, natural reserves, and thermal hot springs.
  • Check into our lodge in Corralco.
  • Briefing.
  • Ski resort warm-up: a few laps in the afternoon if time allows! Or short skin up a local hill.
  • Group dinner with local Chilean food and wine.
DAY 2 – 5 Expand

DAY 2 – 5

Ski Tour Lonquimay Volcano and Surrounding Backcountry Zones such as Sierra Nevada, Tohuaca and Llaima.
  • Breakast at Lodge
  • 4 full days ski touring the local backcountry, possible Objectives are the strinking and accessible Lonquimay Volcano, The huge Sierra Nevada, The perfect shaped coned  Llaima Volcano and the remote Tolhuaca Volcano
  • Weather and conditions permitting, a summit of many Volcanoes
  • Options for a recharging soak in the valley’s local hot springs
  • Group dinner at our lodge with local Chilean food and wine
DAY 6 – 7 Expand skinning up the peak

DAY 6 – 7

Arrive to Pucon, Antumalal Hotel; Ski Volcano Villarrica and Quetrupillan Volcano or other surrounding peaks
  • Breakfast
  • Travel to Pucon, bordering beautiful Lake Villarrica
  • Days of ski touring the skirts of active volcanoes, back country secrets and see epic panoramic views of the Lake District and smoking active cones in the distance
  • Conditions permitting, summit and ski Volcano Villarrica, Quetrupillan and Sollipulli
  • Post ski, enjoy thermal hot springs, mountain town cafes, pubs, and authentic local food at our select favorite restaurants in Pucon
DAY 8 – 10 Expand

DAY 8 – 10

Depart Pucon, Drive to Puerto Varas
  • Group breakfast
  • Travel to Puerto Varas, charming town at the base of Lake Llanquihue
  • Volcan Osorno –  8752 ft / 2652m a splendid perfect cone shaped Volcanoe
  • Conditions permitting, summit and ski Volcano Osorno – 8,701 ft / 2652 m
  • Pack up, check out, Fly back to Santiago from Puerto Montt (1/2 hr drive) or from Temuco (3 hrs drive)
